poptastic bride: I love you.

It’s no secret that I’ve got mad, MAD love for Poptastic Bride.  Cynthia’s writing style alone makes it well worth the (hours) you’ll spend wading through all the real weddings, indie song ideas, and inspiration posts.  But beyond just being an excellent writer, she just plain believes in what she’s doing.  She loves it, and it shows through her tireless dedication and all the hours she spends researching, interviewing, selecting photos and vendors, and staying in touch with the folks she connects with.  I know I say it all the time, but seriously – bookmark, subscribe, like, and follow – this is among the very best of the very best wedding blogs.  MAD LOVE.

So when someone I admire this much asks ME for an INTERVIEW, I about pass out.  And then I fret and fret over it, revising my answers at least forty-two times before actually emailing them in.  And then I fret and fret over image selections, sending her four times as many photos as she requested because I’m a Libra and I can’t make a decision to save my life.  And then I try to forget about it all, because otherwise I’ll just fret some more.  Within a few days of sending my answers back to Cynthia, she emailed me to let me know that my interview was live.  I held my breath, and clicked the link.

Aside from Mike, I don’t think anyone has ever said so many wonderful things about me.  That’s only a slight exaggeration – did you READ the INTRO?  That’s all Cynthia – I didn’t tell her to say those things!  “…what Charo Photo is all about: love, family, real honest-to-goodness moments, and real no-frills photography. She portrays her brides and grooms as they truly, uniquely are, without necessitating props and fancy editing. “  Are you kidding me?  Could she have nailed our mission statement any better than that?  WE haven’t done as good a job of describing what and why we do what we do!  She’s amazing!  And she made me cry.  Good, happy, I’m-not-worthy tears.

Kick back and read all about us at Poptastic Bride.  And then come back here and let us know what you think!  Bonus points to anyone who comments with the “celebrity wedding” they would most like to shoot/attend!
